LoAnn is the best, the staff is friendly at the front desk, they listen to what you want and really try to get to know you. It's been a long time since I've had my hair done somewhere where they take an honest interest in their customers. Can't wait to go back! Avanti - remodeled and updated salon with new owner. Very nice - open and airy. All staff very friendly. Susan P is my stylist - have been using her for years. I highly recommend this shop to anyone - "special occasion do" or long term hair dresser - this is the place to look. I have been going to see Susan for over 10 years, and she is wonderful! As Avanti Salon, this redesigned salon has a wonderful new owner who still works as a hair stylist there. Got my hair done by Alma on a Saturday afternoon. I had an appointment and was seated immediately. There's nothing worse than waiting and waiting and waiting when you have date night right after. Alma did a great job! Showed her and explained exactly what I wanted and she did just that! It took about 25 minutes for her to cut off all of the dead hair I had, about 1 1/2 inches. She also thinned it out because I have very thick hair. I wear my hair straight every day, so once she finished cutting it, she blow dried and flat ironed it. I could not be happier! Thank you Alma! Walked in last week knowing that I wanted Red highlights. I was seen immediately by Emily. This was first time getting my hair dyed...Emily was great in showing me all my options and helping to suggest which hair color would be best for me.
